Aboriginal Awards Night

Wednesday evening saw the Annual Aboriginal Awards Night held at the Performance Hall at school. Around 120 students, parents, family members, staff, community members and representatives of businesses and organisations attended. It was a wonderful evening of performance, recognition and celebration of the achievements of Aboriginal students at our school. Thank you to all who attended and particular thanks to Robin Mather and Simone Barker who worked with students and community members to organise the night. Thank you to Craig Gillespie and Glen Cook who, with members of the Aboriginal Education Committee have provided strong leadership in the development of Aboriginal education programs and Aboriginal student support at our school.
