Students at Evans River K-12 School gain an understanding of science and its social and cultural importance. Students are encouraged to discuss ethical decisions about local and global applications and implications of science.
The science curriculum develops student knowledge of a variety of fields including chemistry, biology, ecology, physics and astronomy. They also gain skills in thinking critically, problem solving, working as a team and developing questions for inquiry and investigation. Through inquiry and investigation students will develop a deeper appreciation for scientific endeavour and the constantly evolving explanations and relationships we discover.
