"Technology and a understanding of design processes enable people to manage, interpret, shape and alter their environment to improve their quality of life at home, school, in work places and in the broader community. The rapid rate of technological change in an increasingly knowledge-based society highlights the need for flexible technological capability, innovative thinking and effective communication skills."
At Evans River K-12 School the faculty of Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) embrace the above statement and are responsible for the delivery of a wide variety of exciting and engaging subjects, all of which offer outstanding training and educational opportunities specifically aligned to industry and career pathways. These include Industrial Arts, Computing, Home Economics and Vocational Education Subjects.
Students from Year 5 onward will be guided through relevant and engaging practical based context areas.
