Agriculture students develop an understanding and appreciation of the essential contributions made in the field of agriculture. Students acknowledge agriculture provides people with food, fibre, fuel, shelter and the possibility of diverse lifestyles. Agriculture is fundamental to human progress and to our economy. Students study all components from the farm, research laboratory, retail outlet and exporter.
Throughout the Preliminary Agriculture Course students will study four topics. These include:

- Plant Production
- Animal Production
The HSC Course includes:
- Plant/Animal Production
- Farm Product Study
- An Elective
